A booking site for Barren Boat and Bunk, a lakeside bunkhouse built for fishermen and hunters near Barren River Lake in Kentucky. Guests browse the bunks and an apartment, check date availability, book by the night or by the week, and pay through a Stripe PaymentIntent flow confirmed by webhook. Each bunk comes with secure storage for a boat and truck.
Every bunk is fitted with a smart lock, and each guest gets a unique door code that’s generated and sent to them automatically by text and email shortly before check-in — no key handoff, no front-desk coordination. The code is revoked automatically after checkout, so hosts never have to manage lock codes by hand.
Staff get automatic cleaning reminders emailed before guest checkout, and an admin panel handles full CRUD on bunks, bookings, and users, with a calendar view and booking analytics.
